The annual Winslow Fall Arts Walk returns to Main Street this month with 22 participating stops, the most in the event’s history, organizers said. The self-guided evening runs from downtown to the renovated feed mill at the north end of the district.
The walk pairs working storefronts with pop-up displays, giving painters, potters, quilters and student artists a place to show and sell their work. Several businesses stay open late, and volunteers hand out printed maps at the town square.
What is new this year
Organizers have added a few features in response to feedback from past walks:
- A dedicated student showcase in the library meeting room
- Live music on two corners instead of one
- A shuttle loop for visitors parking at the fairgrounds lot
The feed mill space, reopened last year after a long vacancy, will anchor the north end with a group show of valley landscapes. Organizers said the building’s return has helped stretch the walk beyond the traditional two-block core.
Admission is free, and the event runs rain or shine. Maps will also be posted at the visitor kiosk by the square on the day of the walk.
